London Underground Ticket Prices

The ticket prices for the London Underground, commonly known as the London Metro, are determined in British Pounds (GBP).
For a single journey ticket, the prices are:
- Zone 1: £2.90-£4.90
- Zones 1-2: £4.00-£6.50
- Zones 1-6: £5.90-£7.50 depending on the time of day and the distance of your journey.
For a daily or weekly pass, you can buy an “Oyster card” which can be topped up with a certain amount and used for multiple journeys. These passes can be used for all zones and the prices are:
- £11.50-£13.50 for a daily off-peak pass
- £13.50-£22.00 for a daily peak pass
- £35.00-£42.50 for a weekly off-peak pass
- £42.50-£62.50 for a weekly peak pass
It’s important to note that children under 11 years old travel for free and there are also concessions available for specific groups such as students and senior citizens with proper identification.
Additionally, contactless payment is also accepted across London transport network as a way of paying fares, including contactless debit/credit cards, mobile payment app, smartwatches and keychains.
